We are looking for a motivated Casual Front Office Receptionist to join our team at our soon-to-be-relaunched boutique hotel property located at 62 Byng Street, Orange. This is your chance to be part of the foundation team as the hotel reopens on Monday 2 December, 2024.

Role Overview

The Front Office Receptionist the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process as well as responding to guest requests in a prompt, friendly and efficient manner. The Front Office Receptionist is also an ambassador for the region we operate within providing town and tourism experiential highlights information for guests.

Key Responsibilities

Operational

  • Greet guests upon arrival, check them in and out, and provide information about the hotel’s facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Handle phone and online reservations, ensuring accurate and timely booking of rooms.
  • Maintain guest records, process payments, and manage the front desk’s daily operations.
  • Customer Support: Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Liaise with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure rooms are ready for guests and any issues are resolved quickly.
  • Monitor guest access and maintain the security of the front desk area.

Guests

  • In collaboration with General Manager and Team Members implement strategies to enhance guest service standards which meet/ exceed the expectations of guests
  • Interact with guests to gather feedback and ensure their stay experience exceeds expectations.

  • Complete to the best of your ability any additional tasks within reason as provided by your immediate manager or delegate
  • Participate/engage in industry events and maintain relevant market knowledge
