Questions, answered.

Who is behind Travellers Group? +

Travellers Group was founded by Andrew Northcott and is owned by Wattlestone Group, the Brisbane-based private investment company he founded and chairs. Its leadership brings together deep hospitality and capital-markets experience — Founder Andrew Northcott, Chairman Alex Dignam (formerly UBS co-head of equity capital markets, Australasia) and Managing Director Craig Smith (formerly Area General Manager, Minor Hotels and Accor).

How many properties are in the portfolio? +

Five, spanning regional Queensland and New South Wales: Emerald Inn (Emerald), Burnett Riverside Hotel (Bundaberg), Cityville Apartments & Motel (Rockhampton), Yallungah Boutique Hotel (Orange) and Bluegum Dubbo (Dubbo). Together the portfolio represents more than 140 rooms and apartments.

Where are the properties located? +

Three in regional Queensland — Emerald, Bundaberg and Rockhampton — and two in regional New South Wales — Orange and Dubbo. Each location was chosen for its economic resilience, population growth and strong mix of corporate, healthcare and leisure demand.

What is the investment philosophy? +

We take a long-term ownership approach rather than short-term trading. Every property benefits from ongoing capital improvement, a consistent quality benchmark we call the Travellers Standard, and shared corporate-account infrastructure — giving travel managers a single relationship across the entire network.

Can I set up a corporate account? +

Absolutely. A single corporate account unlocks negotiated rates, direct billing and recorded traveller preferences at every Travellers Group property. Setup takes five business days — contact us to get started.
