Who owns Travellers Group?
Travellers Group is owned by Wattlestone Group, a Brisbane-based private investment company. The group is led by Chairman Alex Dignam (formerly UBS co-head of equity capital markets, Australasia) and Managing Director Craig Smith (formerly Area General Manager, Minor Hotels and Accor).
How many properties does Travellers Group operate?
Five — Emerald Inn (Emerald QLD), Burnett Riverside Hotel (Bundaberg QLD), Cityville Apartments & Motel (Rockhampton QLD), Yallungah Boutique Hotel (Orange NSW), and Bluegum Dubbo (Dubbo NSW). Together the portfolio operates approximately 165 keys across regional Queensland and New South Wales.
Where are Travellers Group properties located?
Three properties in regional Queensland (Emerald, Bundaberg, Rockhampton) and two in regional New South Wales (Orange, Dubbo). The portfolio is concentrated in established and emerging regional hubs selected for population growth and economic diversity.

Travellers Group acquires and operates regional Australian accommodation for long-term ownership rather than short-term trading. The group invests in property improvement, standardised quality (the Travellers Standard), and corporate account infrastructure that gives travel managers one relationship across the entire portfolio.
