Yallungah Boutique Hotel

A refined retreat in Orange, NSW — contemporary art and striking design within a beautifully restored 19th-century heritage homestead.

Our boutique flagship, Yallungah is a beautifully restored heritage homestead in the heart of Orange, NSW — crafted in 1896 and thoughtfully reimagined, fusing contemporary art and striking design with original cedar detailing for a stay that feels like nowhere else. It sits at 62 Byng Street, walking distance to the centre of town.

The destination

Orange is one of Australia’s premier cool-climate food and wine regions — a four-season destination of cellar doors, hatted restaurants and produce-led events such as Orange F.O.O.D Week and the Orange Wine Festival, championed by the local Orange360 network. It’s also a substantial regional economy, anchored by health, education, government and the nearby Cadia gold mine. We work hand in hand with the region’s makers and growers — Yallungah even has a private gate to the Ferment cellar door, right on our grounds.

Rooms & suites

22 individually designed rooms and suites, from the Deluxe Queen and Deluxe King / Twin to the Executive Suites, the Beech Tree Garden Suite and the Yallungah Suite, with accessible options throughout.

Dining & experiences

The Yallungah Dining Room serves a two-course à la carte breakfast daily, and guests enjoy private access to the Ferment cellar door on the grounds — a fitting base for exploring Orange’s renowned food and wine.

Meetings & gatherings

A guest lounge with fireplace and heritage gardens set the tone, while the Lamrock Room boardroom seats up to 16 — ideal for executive retreats, board meetings and high-touch incentive programmes, including exclusive-use buy-outs of the whole homestead.
