The name Travellers carries with it something deeply Australian. Long before this business grew into motels and hotels across the country, it began with a life lived on the land. Andrew, our founder, spent his early years working on cattle stations, where days started before sunrise and ended long after dark.

There’s a rhythm to mustering cattle across the open country – you move with the mob, side by side, never rushing but always steady. Travelling together, you come to understand the value of trust, endurance, and looking after one another on the journey.

That spirit is at the heart of Travellers Group. Just like those long days in the saddle, we believe the journey matters as much as the destination. For our guests, it means feeling looked after along the way. For our team, it means working side by side, supporting one another, and building something that lasts.

We chose the name Travellers because it’s who we are. We’re here for people on the move – whether it’s families on the road, workers away from home, or communities that welcome them in. We want every stay to carry that same down-to-earth care and hospitality that you’d find around a campfire after a long day on the land.
