We are looking for a motivated Casual Front Office Receptionist to join our team at our boutique hotel property at 62 Byng Street, Orange, NSW.
Role overview
The Front Office Receptionist is the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process, as well as responding to guest requests in a prompt, friendly and efficient manner. The Front Office Receptionist is also an ambassador for the region, providing town and tourism highlights for guests.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival, check them in and out, and provide information about the hotel’s facilities, services and local attractions
- Handle phone and online reservations, ensuring accurate and timely booking of rooms
- Maintain guest records, process payments, and manage the front desk’s daily operations
- Address guest inquiries, requests and complaints promptly and professionally
- Liaise with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure rooms are ready and issues are resolved
- Monitor guest access and maintain the security of the front desk area
